2004 Chevy Aveo right rear wheel locks up in reverse

My 2004 Aveo with a manual transmission developed this problem last night. I drove into work just fine, but when I tried to leave, the back right tire wouldn't move. I had the same experience many of you are mentioning - it felt like the parking brake was still on just that side.

I called a tow truck, and even when he was loading the Aveo onto the truck, the back wheel did not budge. All three other wheels spun freely.

I'm waiting to hear what the issue is and I'll report back with an update.
