Post National Vehicle Theft Protection Month

First and foremost, I want it to be known that I'm an employee of LoJack. I'm not looking to push any products or sales, but rather share educational information and tips.

As you know, today is the first day of July and vacation season is starting to heat up. In fact, 99,345 vehicles were stolen in the United States last July marking it the second highest month for vehicle theft (right behind August).

To combat vehicle theft, LoJack and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) have teamed up for an annual vehicle theft protection education initiative, which includes designating July as “National Vehicle Theft Protection Month.” The initiative is designed to help owners of cars, motorcycles, construction equipment and commercial vehicles better understand how to protect their assets from theft.

As part of the program, LoJack and NICB created a free educational booklet on vehicle theft protection called "Get in the Know." You can simply download it at www.lojack.com/knowledge by clicking on the NICB LoJack brochure.

Thanks for your time and feedback!
