Steering wheel wobble

I have a 2010 lincon mkz with a slight wobble in the steering wheel when I drive. The car tracks straight down the road at 70 mph any ideas what it could be?

Re: Steering wheel wobble

Likely a tire balance issue or possibly a separated belt. Since you notice it in the steering wheel it will almost certainly be an issue with a front wheel/tire. You could rotate tires front to rear to confirm the issue is not a steering or suspension issue.

Re: Steering wheel wobble

You may have bent a wheel, or simply knocked a weight off.

Re: Steering wheel wobble

Did the wobble start after the new tires were installed, or where they installed in an attempt to remedy this?
