Special tools?

Trying to put together a special Christmas present for my father in law. He use to run old muscle cars. Had a mechanic shop for years. I have several pictures of him working on Old SS's, chevelles, etc. I want to find some specific tools to that were only used on those old cars. Anything come to mind? Or was there a specific wrench guys always had back then? Maybe the ground it down to fit somewhere? Any help here guys?

Re: Special tools?

How about a distributor wrench. Or a working timing lite, or old school dwell meter.
