Gas Mileage
I was wondering what everyone else was gettin in terms of gas mileage. the epa estimates 28 / 34 / 31 (city, hwy, avg.).
My friend and i got 41.2 mpg going from san diego to san luis obispo. i was thrilled by that.

Re: Gas Mileage
Do have an automatic or manual?
If you are getting 41 highway, what about in town and what about combined? You must have a light foot on the pedal. Wanda |

Re: Gas Mileage
My mom is bumming hard, gets 28/mostly city with a 08 Fit Sport automatic. Thought she'd get 33. Anybody else with less than desired MPG. Reading Interstates post I guess she should be happy if that is what she is supposed to get.

Honda jazz can save you a lot of gas among other honda cars. Of course it's a coupe!

Re: Gas Mileage
i just bought an 08 Honda Fit AT a few months ago.
i only have about 3000 miles on it now. The gas mileage is supposed to improve after about 6000 miles (once it really breaks in). so far im getting about 36 mpg highway. ( avg. 70-75 mph) city with aggressive driving: 28mpg city with easy driving: 32 mpg if i slow down to 60-65mph, i would expect about 38 mph (guessing). I'm hoping for over 40mpg once it really breaks in.
