Re: Reji model

Have you ever thought about doing decals for some of the new 1/24th diecast that are coming out. Hachette and White Box have done some really nice models that could be made into racing models if you repaint them. The newer ones even have no opening doors to improve accuracy. I would say the French Collection is as good as Fujimi in accuracy. White Box/Hachette also made some nice Alfa models. How about a Alfa GTV6 Group A FIA Totip or Luigi Racing trans kit for their 1/24th Alfetta GTV model.

I agree with you but not so much can be made into racing models : a couple of Giulia's, a Giulietta, the Alfetta...

I'd love a group A GTV6 (circuit or rally, that's what's most interesting with this car) BUT... a transformed body, a racing interior, other wheels and tires... isn't it called a kit rather than a trans kit ?

All you need are decals, wheels, bumpers and racing seat+ rollcage. Someone in Italy already made a transkit to convert the White Box GTV Alfetta into a GTV6 and it is really nice. A race version would be much better. I would not want the body and chassis recast in resin as it would not be as crisp. Not to worry if Reji does not do it I will atleast do the decals and printed wheels for the Totip Jolly Club and Luigi FIA cars. The body on the GTV and GTV6 Alfetta are very close and do not require modification. The race version does not have any body trim but the bumpers and spoiler+hood are different add on parts.

Re: Reji model

I would sure go for a couple of them if you decide to sell them.
I wish I could reproduce the 1975 Tour de Corse Andruet's car too, and the 1980 Turbodelta as well. A real beast ! All are 4 cylinders so they have the early tail lights.

The 1975 GTV 16 valve cars were cool looking but the 1980 cars were dogs and did not do very well. I am surprised that no one has done many of the touring and rally Alfa's. The Norton kits were downright horrid.

For the tail lights, the real cars have the same shape under the plastic tail lights. The Italian transkit just molded a clear part to cover just like on the real cars.
