Problems with an 03' stang conv. top

My wife has an 03' stang conv. someone cut the top to steal her gps, anyway, our insurance paid for just the top, this was 5 mos. ago. Now there is a one inch gap between the top of the rear window and the top. I hear for factory sealed the tops to the windows. My question is, do I need to buy an complete top that has been pre sealed, (which I can't find) or can I buy the top, window and curtain and have it sealed ? I'm fighting this big time. I can't find the answer anywhere. If anyone can help me please do. Thanks
