Fuel Pump question?
I bought a replacement drivers side fuel pump yesterday and the new one I bought differs from the one already in the car. The car is an AWD 300c with a v8 hemi. The pump that's in the car has 2 cords. One of the cords has 4 prongs and the other cord has 2 prongs. The new fuel pump I bought only has the one cord with 4 prongs. There is no other cord. Both pumps were made in different countries, so obviously they are different brands. Does this difference matter? I'm sure I bought the right pump, so why are they different?
