Question Parting out a Fairlady in Okinawa!

Are the NA Throttle-bodies bigger than TT's? Something I heard from a friend in Okinawa... I'm not sure if this just JDM Z32's or what? Or maybe he is wrong (he's not into NISSAN's and is a self procalimed Rotary-Head!)? Are any of you aware of this? My buddy In Okinawa has stumbled on a gem... a Z32 Fairlady TT is being part out as I speak and I'm trying to get as many parts as possible, ie the TT injectors... What about the fuel-pump? Can you guys think of anything else I can use? Thanks...

Re: Parting out a Fairlady in Okinawa!

I'll see if all that is avaible still... from what I know, my buddy knows someone who bought this Fairlady with a blown engine to scavenge for his own Z32... he used up what he could and is trying to get someone to buy some more parts so he can get some $$ back...so some parts may not be avaible. I'm bacically just trying to get some TT parts and some cosmetic parts while I'm at it.

Ivia, try to get the MAF, throttle bodys, upper and lower intake manifolds, heads and computer (ECU) If it a automatic, I'd buy that and build it as a spare.
You might even check on the high speed cotter keys. JK

Re: Parting out a Fairlady in Okinawa!

I dont think the JDM ECU, or injectors will work on a USDM car... There is a difference in pedence levels that may have a potential to fry your electrical system... Just do some research before you do anything like that guys.

(O and I wouldnt recomend the turbos off a JDM Zed... Smaller than USDM)

Re: Parting out a Fairlady in Okinawa!

JDM Injectors are high pedence I believe... And USDM ECUs and electronics are low pedence. It would be a contridiction of waves, and would fry a lot of expensive shit.

Re: Parting out a Fairlady in Okinawa!

I know your not calling me out dude... Might try running this by ESCORT Racing and see what they say.

This has been passed down to me by word of the importers... Because I tried to yank the JDM fuel rail off one of their VG30DETT's they just imported, and they told me that.

So Im not sure... Just check.

Don't take that tone with me, young-man... I wasn't calling you out! I just said i don't know any better! LoL You are starting to act like freakonaleash...

If I could get a hold of ESCORT than maybe I woud have asked... but I'll take your word for it sense you normally know what you are talkingabout, Wesley...
