Need Help with 2001 Altima Tail/Brake Lights

My 2001 Altima (great car!!) now has both brakelights out - the center one still works, but the two regular ones are not functioning. We've replaced the bulbs, checked the fuses (no problems found) and still they are not working.

We have not had any other problems with the car, other than having to replace a headlight bulb.

Does anyone have any idea what else to check, or what might be causing this problem??

Thanks!!

I have the same problem with my 2000 Altima, so I guess this is a bump as I am trying to find a solution as well.

heck the connections between the wires leading to main wire hareness. It is onthe drivers side. It may be pinched by the seat or a foreign object. Also check the all fuses and relays. They sometimes have associations with other parts.
