Not stopping after brake job

Just did just about everything brake related to my 2000 Dodge 2500 5.9 cummins auto transmission. Master cylinder is new and was bench bled. All the main rubber lines were replaced. Calipers pads rotors shoes and slaves were all replaced, I'm sure I'm forgetting something but it's pretty much 100% new. Had issues bleeding though. I got a little bit of air out all 4 lines but not nearly as much as I expected. The pedal is super spongy and can't stop the pickups power at idle in reverse and barely stops it in drive at idle. The only thing I can thing of is the calipers are full of air? I was reading that the bleed valve belongs in the top side and if it's on the bottom the calipers are upside down, but that's how they came off and I just put it together the same way it came off. Any suggestions would be awesome. Its parked on a friends lawn and it doesnt need to become a new ornament .

Re: Not stopping after brake job

Anyone that is interested, blead valves go on top. Dont be like me and put it back together the way it came off because the guy before knew what he was "doing" or you'll learn the hard way like I did.
