Fault codes P0171 and P0174
What are all of the possible causes for these two codes together from most likely to least?

Welcome to AF,
Using forum search '' P0171'' , and Simular Threads at the bottom of your thread is helpful during searching. What's the year/mileage? see also http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=969775 |

2006 S Type R with 24K miles -
Is this car still under insurance or warranty? It sounds like unmetered air is leaking into your Intake! 1)Do a visual inspection from the air filter box, and air duct work to your throttle body. Make sure your air filter is in tight, and no leaks from PCV system going to your air duct work. 2) Call around for a local garage, that can do a smoke test for unmetered air leaks. see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfiQ7qWiG-M |
