Cool Xb Maint Reqd Light

Anyone know how to turn off the Maint Reqd light? The manual says it is for oil changes only but doesn't say how to turn it off. Thanks in advance.

Re: Xb Maint Reqd Light

I believe the info's buried somewhere in the manual... it has to do with holding in the "trip reset" button while turning the key on - if you get a countdown-type display, you're doing the right thing . Just hold the button in until it's done.
I still have to play with mine, and I've had the car a year and a half .

With the key off hold the odometer button depressed. Turn key on and continue to hold button down until light goes off.

Sorry for the late response. All the inputs helped. Scion does include the instructions for resetting this light in the owners manual.
