Hobbie shops QLD Australia
Hi,
After a break for the past 2 years I am keen again to get back into my modelling Now moved to Toowoomba Qld. I miss my frontline hobbies that was only a 15 minutes drive in Newcastle from home! Any good hobbie shops near toowoomba that anyone knows of? even brisbane if I have too...... There is always online shopping at frontline though.... |

Re: Hobbie shops QLD Australia
Cant help you with Toowoomba hobby shops, but CJ Vogler in Ipswich are a good crew, after that your looking at Hobbyrama at Stafford, HobbyOne in Upper Mt Gravatt or Mr Toys in Springwood. I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones I'm familiar with that seem to stock a decent amount of models and supplies.
Honestly, do what I do and order through Frontline or BNA model world (I'm in Brisbane) |

Re: Hobbie shops QLD Australia
Welcome back to the madness werdy!
I'm on the goldy and on occasion I will travel to the stores that smokey has suggested to just have a look and maybe grab some paints but that's about it I will spend most of my money at bna model world I am in no way affiliated with them but they are far and away the best online store in aust in my opinion The only problem I have is every time I order I tend to spend $150-200!! It's not hard tho, they have a huge range I will have to checkout frontline hobbies, I haven't been there for a while Can't wait to see some of your works

I do miss Voglers, I used to pop in every week or so whilst working in the area, they used to have the occasional old stock kit appear on the shelves at good prices (cavalier A9X and HK Monaro at $40 each !) Mr Toys at Springwood always seemed to have some good sales on car kits around this time of year too..... and a pretty huge range. Not much in Tawoomba itself though, unfortunately. Regards, Dan

Re: Hobbie shops QLD Australia
I reckon BNA would be the way to go personally. Equally as good, if not better, than any of the big name players online. Always have clearance specials, same day (speedy, reliable, well-priced) shipping, the value of your purchases equal the same amount in points which can then be redeemed against purchases. Have nothing to do with them but I am a very happy customer.
They have an eBay store too - a-modeller - which has real time inventory linked to their webpage at a smidge above the website price. Which you'd expect. |
