'04 Tahoe Range/Fuel gauge problem.
I recently noticed after filling up that my range gauge was saying only 200 something miles left till empty before it would always register in the mid 300's. My other gauges still say I'm getting roughly 15 mpg which would put me around 300 a tank but my range and fuel gauge are showing low around 200 something miles. Anyone have any Idea what the problem might be?

Re: '04 Tahoe Range/Fuel gauge problem.
I got a letter from GM stating that they have extended the warranty on the instrument panel cluster. They will cover it for 7 years or 70,000 miles. They will also reimburse you if you have repairs made to the instrment panel. Call 1-800-630-2438 Customer assistance center. Hope this helps!!

Re: '04 Tahoe Range/Fuel gauge problem.
GM did extend warranty 7/70 for cluster. But not the sending unit (fuel pump)...most times when cluster fails its rpm and mph ....but they also have problem with sending unit in tank...no reading right... only way to know for sure is hook up tech 2 and do a gauge sweep and see if they will sweep full range
