frustration - tamiya sprays

My first few experiences with tamiya sprays (TS) have been pretty positive. But the last few cans that I have used, I haven't been able to spray without the the spray dieing on me. Strange because they were relatively new cans. I tried cleaning the nozzle with thinner...but it didn't seem to help.

Anybody have suggestions or experience with this?

Are you heating the cans before you spray?

Are you using them upright? if you turn them sideways I know they don't work very well.

Try a different nozzel and see if it works.
If it still dont work...take it back to the shop you got it from.

Re: Re: frustration - tamiya sprays

I found that replacing the nozzle with a new one fixed the problem.

Anyone have any tips in cleaning the nozzles?

Re: frustration - tamiya sprays

If the nozzle is blocked try clearing it with some fine wire. Make sure the wire is small enough not to enlarge the nozzle, that could affect the spray pattern.
