Go to Hobby Search and bring up the instruction step 3, 4 and 5 in page 1 and 2. The turbo and exhaust manifold, as well as the lower engine block are molded with the chassis as one part.

The tamiya R34 kit is a curbside kit and does NOT come with any engine its just the oil sump and some kind of turbo-looking plastic circles in a line, just good enough to make some turbine housing but NOT useable for any detailed compressor-house turbo styling.
Only kits with engines: Tamiyas old R32kits
Aoshima GTR kits
Aoshima - high power unit R32 kit

"bending styrene or parts tree's with some candel light heat."

candle light? dont be ghetto. i use one of those cheap as black lights that are just light bulbs painted black. they get extremly hot! bends sprue easily.

This is how i made my turbo that is going on my integra. took a one inch sprue, bent it into a loop into the center. then cut it to size. puddy in the holes and sand it round.

I need some confirmation that the aoshima GTR and R32 come with engine detail, is this 100% true? how is the detail compared to tamiya's RB26?

Here you can see the details of the Aoshima R32 GTR VeilSide:

BEWARE: Not all Aoshima GTR Kits come with an Engine!!!
Mostly the "tuned" versions with aero bonnets etc. do have engines!
Also only Tamiyas R32 Kits have an engine-maybe better detailed but i donīt know exactly-i guess a mixture of both engines would give the best result

bit of an old topic but this caught my eye...would you still happen to have the info and links to those tutorials?

this would be cool i can make copies of some of my parts...seats and all the small misc. parts i end up needing when it comes to building modded cars.
