Well Bob,
I don't know about the tires, but I can speak for the wax, (I'm a exterior shine freak!) The is ONLY my personal opinion, but I don't use any type of wax on my cars. If you do your homework, you'll find that the sun will melt wax, causing it to lose protection, smudge, and start to look dull. I prefer the synthetic polishes. Ones without silicon or teflon. They are very easy to put on and take off. You don't have to worry about them drying out on the car. I put it on the whole care in about 15 minutes, put the car in the garage and go to bed. The next day I easily remove the haze in about 5 minutes for the whole car, and the finish is outstanding. You MUST start with a very clean surface for maximum effect. There are many brands available, they are not cheap, but neither was your car! Personally I like Liqui-Tech. (check the web) You can buy direct from the mfr. Good luck, keep it shining! |

As long as the surface is clean and free of oxidation, this will give you a great shine and protection like you never had. It is so easy to work with, and leaves an ultra smooth and slick finish. You don't have to use a wheel or buffer. Your polishing cloth will just slide off the car when done. They also make a spray touch up that works well also.
No, I don't sell the stuff and don't own any part of the company. (I wish I did!) I'm sure there are other comparable products out there, but I have used and know this one. |
