1:18 Paudi Infiniti QX70 > Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel

Hello world

I have a friend of mine who is avid collector of 1:18 die-casts and lucky owner of Infiniti FX50 Sebastian Vettel Edition. His collection theme time frame lies in period before 1980 year and spans over 2000 pieces now. This is one of the biggest collections I ever seen. I want to make some special gift for him and here comes an idea to transform Paudi QX70 into FX50 Vettel Edition similar to the one he owns. A bit out of time range of his collection but might be very special piece.

This is an attempt, I don't know how and where it'll go. Hopefully it will end up on his table, time will tell.

There is a lot of Paudi model photos on internet, just a couple of examples of the donor:

On a side note I must admit exceptional quality of the Paudi which is far more superior to many Kyosho or Minichamps. I've been repairing a lot of them lately and I know what I'm talking about. Still there are some dead glued parts that need to be brute forced out of their places, so disassembling had it's casualties in terms of some broken parts but more about it later. However, I was surprised with the quality level that Paudi offers. It's very close to Autoart I would say.

And here is the real thing, this is not the car of my friend and there are some variations to the car like tinted lights and some others:

I will not list all the differencies of the Vettel version, that can be easily found over the net and many of them will be discussed during the process if later will go on.
