You are talking about 1/64 scale cars??? I don't see why you would want to modify cars that are almost too small to appreciate...

SilverLotus,
Customizing HotWheels, MBox, Jada and other brands of 1/64 scale Diecast is a huge hobby worldwide.
I write numerous Tutorials and Tips online for transforming these little cars into works of Art.

Here's a link to many of my posted Customs,
AirBrushed with House Of Kolor products and homemade Decals,

http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/f...play.php?f=369

Gently spinning off the factory rivet's mushrrom cap by using a Variable Speed Handdrill with an 11/64" split end bit will allow the body to be separated from the base.

Email me for any info at,
CadillacPatCustoms@comcast.net

Here's a couple of my Customs,

5 HotWheels bonded together into a stretch Limo.

Car and trailer,

TailDragger and OozeCoupe combo,

Route66 Oil Tanker,

Matching Dualley PickUp,

Matching Divco Delivery with inlaid Rhinestone Headlights,

Hi, everybody. I had to join the forum after seeing that comment.

My skill level isn't up there with CadillacPat but here are some shots of 1/64 Hot Wheels I've done:

'65 Vette

'69 Camaro

'67 Camaro w/ Cowl Induction

'62 Chevy (polished bare metal finish)

'34 Ford

Split Tail chopper

A Custom Blown Boneshaker

If you thought 1/64 scale cars were too little to appreciate, check out this 1/87 Scale Boneshaker. It looks to be 4.5 cm long.

Give the little 1/64 and 1/87 cars a chance, for a dollar they can be a lot of fun.

Re: Hotwheels Customizing

Here's a wheel swap I did on a 911 tonight:

I think this is one of the nicer 1/64 Hot Wheels, the Ford GT LM. It got new shoes too:
