Nothing like a good old OOB to get it going. Looking excellent so far!

Re: Subaru Impreza 98' WRC - Colin McRae
Another update on this one. P7WRC has a brother in the form of R30WRC now as well. This was actually a dual build and the other night I put both of them together for some photos.
For a little context R30WRC is chassis #31 produced by Prodrive new for the 1998 Rally New Zealand. My friend in Japan now owns the car and it has received a new-gen Legacy engine so it can be daily driven on the roads in Tokyo. I am doing a build for him of his car (only as the LHD edition as it was run). I have attached a couple of photos below of the car in Japan. In terms of the model of P7WRC and R30WRC they are now done with the chassis and cockpit, and I am moving onto the bodywork side of things. Fingers crossed a good chunk of progress will be made this weekend.

Cheers Endac! Yeah he was featured on TopGear a while back and has been on a few sites here and there with the car.
I have finally got both buttoned up today and now just need to sit down and sticker up the P7WRC with the '555' livery. Happy with how things worked out build-wise. Can't wait to get some yellow on one.

Re: Subaru Impreza 98' WRC - Colin McRae
Very nice builds indeed. I think this car has to be the epitome of the early WRC era rally cars. So iconic, and recognisable the world over. Helps that Tamiya's kit is so beautifully engineered too.
