Re: how fast have you been
136 mph on my stock 99 SE on I-5 when I was really really really late to work for about a 15 mile stretch. Photo did not turn out to prove it---damn batteries. I am heading out with a cop friend of mine to see if we can recreate the test and have him radar. There is a spot in the eastern part of the state with a highway that is as straight as an arrow for nearly 50 miles and very few vehicles--that is where we will test it.

Re: how fast have you been
Got my 04 to 110 easy, just barely in 4th. 100 feels like 70 in other cars.
Buddy got his 04 auto up to 150, stock at the track.

Re: how fast have you been
I have a friend who pegged 140 on a slight downhill in a '96 SE. It pulled to the mid 130's before the road dipped.

Re: how fast have you been
It's going to take a lot more than 260 HP to push one to 155 given the weight and aerodynamics of the car. Stock, 155? I'll call BS on that.

Re: how fast have you been
Nowhere in my post did I mention it was stock. It was pushing over 260hp at the wheels though.

Re: how fast have you been
I sure hope you don't mean track as in 1/4 mile.
