Questions, how does a 23" wheel look on a car? I mean, in real life, I couldn't imagine a 23" wheel on a Skyline. It would look wrong, too excessive, but in scale terms it might be acceptable. Do the inside wheel wells need to be removed or anything else to allow fitment of a 23"?

Actually they have them in stock. I e-mailed Pegasus last night about them. They said that the website is not always updated right away. You have to call them and place your order. I got 4 sets just this morning.

I have a set of 24" rims and the size is barely different from the tamiya LMGT-4 found in the R34 GT-R VSpec 2.

In the real world it's pretty hard to tell if the rims on a car is 18 or 19, 19 or 20. In 1:24 its barely noticable at all.

Great article, Steve! I've already added it to the How-to depository.

If I get a chance this weekend, I'll print this thread and take it to show Pegasus. Would you like me to include your email so they can credit you? PM me!

Let me verify it for u, the inside diameter of the sleeves are 18's but the diameter outside are 23's. But whut Steve said they are really only 21's.

Right I hope this helps. If your standard rims are less than 20.04mm outside diameter, they will not fit. A Tamiya Skyline wheel is 20.90mm o/d, therefore can be turned down to fit.
Thanks
