You sir are made of win.
Thanks. And if I may inquire; where did this pic come from. Looks like some type of manual or instructions. |

Hey webslinger - good to see you again too!
Page 90 of "Driving Ambition" - titled 'Components of a Classic' The full page has a description for each labeled part, top and bottom. While I have my Top 125 thread for stuff similar to this, let me go dig around for some additional things that fall outside that theme to contribute here. >8^) ER |

Re: Mclaren Desktop Worthy Pictures and Scans
I've got another version of that scan from Driving Ambition. I still don't know how to post images to the site, but you can check out an image on Photobucket that I created from the scan. I titled it McBlownApart. You might be interested in the wallpaper. Just PM me if you'd like a larger size.

Re: Mclaren Desktop Worthy Pictures and Scans
I tend to use the most beautiful and unaltered photographs of the F1 for my desktop, but some people prefer something a little more stylish or artistic. I'll share some sets I have collected over the years with a sheet of thumbnails for each and then a link to DL them all if you are interested.
DL Links: http://www.mediafire.com/?tdnj5mjnjz2 http://rapidshare.com/files/341672055/Vsix_walls.zip Back with more eventually. >8^) ER Last edited by Peloton25; 01-29-2010 at 10:52 AM. |

Re: Mclaren Desktop Worthy Pictures and Scans
Here's another set - I forget who the credit for this work goes too, but I seem to recall they were found on jabbasworld.com perhaps?
DL Links: http://www.mediafire.com/?z3itveyn1ij http://rapidshare.com/files/342990438/photoshopped.zip I also added a link to DL the original file from MediaFire if anyone finds that more effective. Back with more eventually. >8^) ER |

Re: Mclaren Desktop Worthy Pictures and Scans
On my desktop, for a long while, has been a shot I took of the pedal box of #013
then this one that Le Man liked of #06R at Goodwood #09 Nothing fancy - I like mine un-altered, and detailed!

Re: Mclaren Desktop Worthy Pictures and Scans
Hi friends.
This is what I see every day on my desktop. PS: I don't know if I am a lurker or a leech, because I'm sure I'm not a lesbian... |

Re: Mclaren Desktop Worthy Pictures and Scans
Hello Jose - Good to see you are still with us.
= = = = = = webslinger sent me this scan of the back cover of "Driving Ambition" the other day and asked that I host it for this thread. The raw file was in need of a little help, so it took me a couple of extra days to get it cleaned up. This image below is clickable for a 1783x1275 version that is very nice. If you want the ultra high resolution version at 3565x2550 (2.4MB), follow this link: http://www.mediafire.com/?xoti51z0tmu >8^) ER |

Erik;
That rear shot of that Clinic Model was the first shots I ever saw of McLaren F1. And what after that happened.....
