2001 4.0 random misfire code

Hello, I'm new to the forum, I stumbled onto it while searching for answers.

I took my 01 in to a friends garage and had him check it out because the check engine light was on and it was running rough.

The random misfire code came up so I went and bought a set of plugs.

I removed the coil packs and I found four out of eight ends on the coils corroded, I gave them a good cleaning, installed new plugs and cleaned the springs in the sparkplug boots.

The car now runs like it should, seems to have move power.

I just wanted to share this as it was probably from the previous owner cleaning the engine to often.
