EVO vs GTO?
My friend is buying a car and is trying to decide between a GTO or a EVO. What do you guys think? I cant decide because I like both cars and they both have their own strong areas.

Re: EVO vs GTO?
The GTO would probably make a better DD overall. Maybe the Evo as a "weekend car" or something. GTO has more stock power, but the Evo can be built to handle more power. Really hard to say no to either one.

Re: EVO vs GTO?
Reliability does not matter to the enthusiast. How the hell do you think there is still MG's left?
GTO though, it's much cooler and since 3 were destroyed in Transformers, that leaves like 2 left, probably.

Re: EVO vs GTO?
Fan of the power the GTO can produce, but if given the choice i would pick the evo. Mostly because my car is not only a project but also a daily driver. The evo has 4 doors and can become quite fast, and not just in a stright line.

Re: EVO vs GTO?
Well I'm a fan of tuner cars, so... I say Evo all the way. It's a DD car in my opinion, It's a AWD, turbo charged, 4 door sedan. If reliability not an issue with you the Evo will satisfy your friend.
I test drove the GTO when it came out and it felt cramped. I'm about 6 feet and the roof was all over me, the power was there, all 400 hp. It was nice but not my cup of soup.
