Using Z32 Air Flow Meters on RB26DETT
I need to know if I can use Z32 air flow meters on my rb26dett. also, does anyone know if the air flow meters connect to the engine harness or chassis harness? thanks in advance for any advice!

Jessica,
Why would you need Z32 meters? The stock GTR meters are good for a little over 500hp. You can run them but you will need a Power FC for them, but unless you are going to be going into the engine with new cams, a lot bigger turbo, etc, you really do not need them. I have a set on the way from the states, but I am still unsure if I will need them.

I just read your web page. I did not see where it mentioned that you would be even close to running out the stock air meters.
I might add, nice project you have there, I can't wait to see pics when its done.

i do have a power fc, the reason i am interested in z32 afm's is because in the u.s. stock skyline afm's are extremely hard to come by, and when you do find them they are really expensive. i dont plan on having more than 400hp with my set up right now, but i plan on upgrading turbos after a year or so, so it will save me a step! thanks for the advice!

rb20 afms work well too, 80mm just like the Z32, only they plug straight in ,unlike the Z32's.
