Timing belt
03 civic with 49,500 miles. Dealer wants to change timing belt. Really necessary already?

Honda says interval is 110,000 miles or 7 years.

If it's the same timing belt from 2003, yeah definitely change it. If the timing belt in a civic lets go, your whole engine is ruined... not worth the risk.
