timing belt or chain ??

just bought a nice clean 98 hombre for my son..paid 2000.00 seems cheap enough as it runs fine, everything works,,,i need to know does this have a timing belt or chain?? motor has 150k on it...put 317k on my 96 ranger before i changed the belt..just wonder if i need to plan for a belt on the hombre// thanks..pj

2.2L or 4.3L???

FYI: the Hombre is really just a Chevy S10.

4 CYL..2.2..DIDN'T KNOW THEY PUT THE V6 IN THE HOMBRE..YEA I KNEW IT WAS AN S10..I WORK FOR AC/DELCO/MOTORCRAFT..SO PARTS ARE AT COST OPTION FOR ME..PJ

That GM 2.2L is an OHV, pushrod'er. No timing belt, no worries!
