that one bit me in the butt!

ok last night wasent a good night for me, it all started after work i met up with a buddy of mine whos truck ive been working on trying to find some power. its a 00' dodge dakota w/ a 4cyl and a 5 speed, i know useless. well i finshed last night and we went for a test run aginest my civic. we made 3 runs and he took me out 2 out of 3 times we ran. the funny part is he never beat me at all before. i cant believe that happened. talk about something coming back to bite you in the butt.
but i did manage to get him off the line everytime, but i just couldnt beat him when he hit third gear.

Re: that one bit me in the butt!

well i put i/h/e/ and port and polished the head and port matched the intake and header.

well i raced it agin this time with my 85 cressida and he didnt stand a chance(i/h/e/ plus motor swap). we made two runs with the cress and i walked all over him so know hes wanting to add a turbo.

here is the story we lined up and my buddy counted us down we both spin hard of the line, that little motor of his actually started to pull on me but we i hit second things changed very quick. by third we was not even close to me so i shut it down. the second was from a 30 mph roll but he missed a shift and he never had the chance to go again b/c my neighbors called the cops on us (no big deal happens all the time)
