With all your efforts to support publishers, you could easily concentrate and buy the F1 itself))

I am offloading one Driving Ambition (unsigned) and one Driving Ambition signed by Doug Nye (Author), Gordon Murray and the late Creighton Brown if anyone is interested (amongst other things)

Nothing new in the following link (I believe), but some nice (High-Res) pictures of F1 book (and brochures + press kits) here: http://www.geauke.nl/heitzynmclarenf...ctie/index.php

The main focus of this site though is F1 models and this fan has got quite a collection!

Those who consider to get Driving Ambition; don't consider it anymore, buy it! I quarantee you'll never disapointed to that.

I got mine today...finally! And was stunned about the quality and how detailed it was. Very highly recomended book indeed!

Greg, thanks again!

Re: Books on the Mclaren - Which ones to get and why

Yep after long waiting it was fantastic. I should buy that earlier to get all that information. But better now than never.
Anyway; all that history what I have been allways intereted, how everything started and I was very suprised how much they had been taken photograffs about all that times, when they did scale models of the car and tested everything and so on.

And the GTR section was fantastic. Great book defenitely, I don't really wonder now at all why someone tryes to get that book over 200$ or more.

It came today - basically it's Into the Red pt 2 with the extra chapter on the Enzo and one other, but no extra content from what I can remember on the F1

Re: Books on the Mclaren - Which ones to get and why

Hello All,

I have copies of both the 1995 and 1996 GT Endurance books which I'm looking to sell, both are unfortunately without dust covers but that aside they are both in fantastic condition, the 1995 version just has some slight wear to the corners from sitting on a bookshelf. If anyone's interested in one or both of them feel free to PM me and I can supply pictures too.

Jamie

Re: Books on the Mclaren - Which ones to get and why

I'd recommend both of these books to an F1 collector - great reference material, good pictures and a weighty addition to any F1 book collection
