'99 ZX2 Flood Damage
Hey,
I am trying to clean out and get running again. The water came up to the hood and just below the side view mirrors. I haven't had much time to get to the mechanical stuff yet. What do I need to be looking for and what should be replaced? I have gutted the interior and washed and dried everything. Please share your experience and any and all knowledge will help. Also, if I need to replace components - what kind of performance/effeceincy upgrade options do I have? Thanks |

Re: '99 ZX2 Flood Damage
replace all fluids/filters in the engine and see if it starts, if so you could be fine make sure NO water in the intake or TB.
you may have to replace teh PCM depening how high the water got inside the car.

Re: '99 ZX2 Flood Damage
Drain the gas tank and use fresh fuel. Change all fluids and filters. Make sure there is no water in the intake or cylinders. New battery.
Make sure the drain holes in the body, trunk, doors are clear to help prevent rust. |
