Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Insane, but in a good way.

So how many Super Sevens have you built now?

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Pardon the silly question that you've probably answered already I but missed, but does the suspension operate? It looks like it could. Also, what reference are you using? Tomes of photographs or do you have a 1:1 Super 7 laying about?

Sweet fancy Moses!!!!
When did you do those hard brake lines? What are they made of and how did you form them?

It's a track car and there's no stainless steel braided brakes lines?

Re: Blue Super Seven W.I.P.

Thanks all. Still the better part of a year I suspect before I get it all done, and yes, that is working on it at every chance I get, it's like a second full time job, but I still enjoy it.

No, it will not run, in fact it won't even roll when finished, even though at this time almost everything moves. Most of it has been built like a real car, but as I set it up I "freeze" or pose the moving parts in their permanent positions. I don't want anything broken down the road, and after all, it is a static model.

The suspension does function now and will stay that way, as does the steering, but I don't intend to "play with it", it just allows me to display it in more than one way. The gas cap opens and the dip stick comes out, but they are easily damaged or lost if played with. So they may become immoveable by the end if the build too.

I do have some nice reference books, and have seen and shot many in person and have friends who own them. Yes, this is my seventh Seven, and I have number eight lined up to do after this and probably a number nine.

It's not a track car, it's a street car. With nitrous... Stay tuned... - Mark

NOS and Secondary Fuel Injection

Approximately 80 individual pieces. The intake runners are the only kit parts, (but modified), the rest is all scratchbuilt/machined, mostly aluminum. The electrical wiring will be done after installation... - Mark
