Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet

I've been told that #18 was sold for 3,92 million Singapore dollars, possibly bought by an English man.

£1.4million for #018 isn't too bad! seeing as #013 whislt for sale in Exeter was for £1.3million

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet

If #013 was really offered for GBP 1,3 million, then the 1,4 million for #018 are really a bargain!

Is it possible that there was an F1 in Iraq under the Hussein reign?

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet

There have been shots of his (or his relatives) Ferrari 550 and an LM002 that have surfaced since the end of the war - both 'modified' by either the Allied Forces or Iraq's own people - and that is where this rumour started.

Possible? sure, why not, he had enough funds to purchase (more than) one that he skimmed off his country; likely? No

#18 is now in Auckland, New Zealand.

Here is a picture of it on dealer plates (I believe the dealer plates belong to Jerry Clayton BMW)

Here's a local Singapore newspaper article on the sale of this F1. most expensive car every sold in F1 followed by Zonda F last year and XJ220 in 1993.

Re: Recap of 'Rest of the World' F1 Fleet

Well - compared to #064 which is still for sale at SPS for 1.88 million Euro, #018 was sold for a bargain...
