Got all the pieces together in a couple of spare hours on the fifth.
, You can see the reflection off of the clear 'glass' over the instruments, the key and alarm remote, seat belts, scratch built speaker grills and window sill pads, PE radio and CD as well as window switches. The white flocking doesn't show well, and the interior is a little too glossy for my taste. Maybe some RayBans on the seat... I 'just' need to finish the lenses and the trim, paint both tops... Maybe by this time next week... maybe.

Looks great! I love all that interior detailing; it seems so much more real.
Keep up the good work! Oh, and BTW, Miatas ARE sports cars. They may not be fast, but they've got it where it counts!

I don't remember if the CD came from Detail Master or Model Car Garage.
I have some of each, and just found this one while I was digging through some random detail parts. The radio face is DM, and the window switches are as well. For CD's you can use sequins from the craft store. I use the big ones for mirror faces, and I suspect a paper punch would be close to the right size. I guess I can stick a mini tutoral on mirror faces in here later in the week too.

Mini Mirror Tutoral
Need to make mirror faces for your latest little ride?
Tired of the nasty kit suppled "chrome" mirror faces? Or, did you get one of those kits without any faces at all? Here's what to do. Go to your favorite craft store and pick up some sequins. I like the big ones but the little ones will work as long as they are bigger than the mirror face you are making. I trim the sequin a little larger than the face and shape it to fit with a 4 way nail file. You can see the dividers that I use to measure the mirrors for the faces. The mirror works well! I captured the reflection of the lettering around my cameras lens.
