Supercharger removal
I'm attempting to remove and replace the supercharger on my 97 GTP. I would appreciate any help re how the tubing lines which are routed over the top of the unit are removed. Thanks

Those r your fuel rails.
They have 4 bolts holding the part on and a center bolt on top. First I would release the fuel pressure by opening the gas cap. After that its a matter of removing the bolts and the wiring clips that are attached to each injector. Then pull up. Its pretty simple, just take your time. |

Re: Supercharger removal
Thank you. I got them off without screwing anything up. Looks like I'll be spending a little time cleaning up around the ports now. Do you have any suggestions for softening up the base and throttle body gaskets which are stuck like cement.
