windshield wiper arm/blade

After I changed to blade on the left wiper of my 2005 GC the blades hang up at the bottom of the return stroke. This pulls the end of the rubber from the holder on the end of the blade. Wrecks the blade and requires a new one. Happens with new blades so it must be the arm. I may have bent the arm a bit the first time I replaced the blade. Could this be the cause. Need a new arm?? Thankls

Re: windshield wiper arm/blade

You bent the arm changing blades ?
Now you have to bend it back, and you know of course that the arm is heat treated steel. Good luck on that one.............

I would replace the arm from the local "yard" OR move the arm on the splined shaft.
Especially the drivers side, and it needs to go a bit more UP !!!!
