Looking at a 1969 cj5. Original dauntless engine with 40,000 original miles. 3 spd tranny bit 2 & 3 are out of it. Also has a GM 465 4-spd manual tranny with dana 300 transfer case. This however would require an axle swap. This jeep is totally restored with a undercoated fiberglass body, new interior, new soft top, brakes, brake lines, rims and tires, gas tank, rear shackles, and the frame was sand blasted. Comes with bikini top and rain gear. It is labeled with the browning trade mark and is pink. Buying price 3500 with the 4 spd, 3000 with 3 spd that needs rebuilt. Which route to go? Should i even buy the jeep? And how much will the tranny work cost either way? Oh by the way, im a girl in love with this pink jeep NOT a mechanic
