Re: Ducati 916 - Tamiya 1/12

Had one of those IFO's too in a paint job. Very annoying to say the least.

Looking good otherwise.

Re: Ducati 916 - Tamiya 1/12

What a beautiful shine... I can't find a better decals for those side cowls, I think that the gold letters are absolutely in concordance with the colour of the bike. Well done!

Re: Ducati 916 - Tamiya 1/12

I made welds on exhaust

and carbon mufflers

next I used tamiya's weathering master set D to do some shadows on exhaust pipes

Re: Ducati 916 - Tamiya 1/12

Although the welds can be a bit on the thick side I think the whole system looks dandy!
This bike will be a stunner. Why not put some clear over that mosquito and leave it as is... ;-)

Re: Ducati 916 - Tamiya 1/12

Great work with that exhaust pipe, In my oppinion a fine coat of clear should give it the correct shine, I think it is too much matt.

Anyway I'm anxious to see that beautiful model finished.

Keep the good work!!

Re: Ducati 916 - Tamiya 1/12

Wow, now it looks better with that clear coat. I'm fascinated with the variety and the realism of the colours.

Good job!!

Looks very nice!
Some question :
- Is any change in colour on the exhaust after you cleared the weathering?
- What clear you used?

Thanks in advance for your answer!
