Re: WIP: Yamaha R1 Tuner
So I'm finally done painting the exhaust system. Or atleast very close to it. I have a few scratches near the right muffler to fix and some joints to paint where the front pipes meats the EXUP. I will also add some washers to the muffler brackets.
I finally fell for some Termignoni decals from the Dexter Models sheet wich seem to have a very high quality. /Joel

Well, Joel...you sure got my attention on this build.
I would very much like to see this one live in the future if possible? It's a stunner for sure. Niclas |

Re: WIP: Yamaha R1 Tuner
Hi guys and thanks for your comments. I look several times a day to see if anyone made a comment - yes, I'm that easy :-)
Proosen - hopefully I'll make it to IPMS Open next year. Hopefully this build can be escorted by some others as well. I think there was quite a few bikes this year wasn't it? /Joel

Joel,
I've been away and just checked the update on your bike. That exhaust looks stunning! Great work! PS. I'm still waiting for you to finish so I can start my street bike?

Re: WIP: Yamaha R1 Tuner
I've to admit after the splitting in sub-forum I'm missing several bikes progresses.
Joel, I missed this thread up to now ...wow man, what a lovely attention to details and I also like your clean and self-explanatory photos. Stunning work ! Roberto |

Re: WIP: Yamaha R1 Tuner
Ohmygosh! Joel, you have single-handedly inspired me to try my hand at a motorcycle kit! This progress is stunning, and I absolutely love every detail you have included. I can see a beautiful piece of work emerging, and I can't wait for more.

Good to hear that you're back Shayne! Take good care of yourself!! And thanks for the warm words, we can soon put all swedish power plants to sleep as my blushing probably will heat the whole nation...
I'll try to be back with the complete swing arm set up next week or so. /Joel
