Well That really depends on how it was built. Compression, what type of rods and pistons.. Remember.. Spoon can build turbo motors just as well as they can build NA motors. Im sure theyll build you whatever you want as long as your paying..

Either way tho.. Itll be quality for sure..

First of all your gonna need to know how a turb engine works, like spoon ITR engine = Really Really High Compression
turbo+high compression= you blowing a 10k motor. and you would be better off turboing a crv engine w/ port polish, and valvetrain and mate it to a ITR tranny then you would be a spoon engine.

OMG, Spoon is a Japanese N1 Endurance race tuner. NOt some USDM drag race builder.

Spoon has high profile, high overlap cams, 11.1:1+ compressio ratios, NA tuned ECUS...

NO such thing as a Spoon turbo motor.

that's F&F bullcrap

peace

boi

lol.. man.. NA only for Spoon.

http://www.spoonsports.com/index2.html

http://www.spoonsports.com/engine1.html for engines

We are talking insanely precise, high compression, extreme output B-series motors from Spoon. No turbo motors here, that's Fast and Furious crap there.

First of all let me apologize for this post. I was doing a couple things at the same time, and it didnt come out the way it was ment to. It was a truely stupid sounding post.

Im very aware of what Spoon does and I appretiate the correction.

What I actually ment to say was...

No you cant put a turbo on a high compression, high revving NA Spoon motor, but Spoon designs and builds motors. Im sure if you went to Spoon with a large amount of cash and asked them to design a blueprinted and balanced, reliable motor that would handle a large amount of boost safely, they would probably do it for the right price. I some how doubt that if the price was right they would turn you down, but I could be wrong. I no way did I mean that you could order a NA Spoon motor and bolt a turbo onto it.

Im very sorry for the mix up.

it's all good

Of course, with enough $$ you can do anything. But, I'd rather have Signal build me a RB26DETT instead

spoon engines are a waste of money...if you want to turbo a motor, get the b18b...spoon engines are built to race specs...basically, you can't daily drive a spoon engine....it won't last long....you can build a better motor for half the price
