Wanted--912
Hi all...I posted this in the wanted forum, but I thought I might get more traffic through here...
I am looking for a 1965-1969 Porsche 912. The car will be driven daily, so it must be in decent shape and rust free. I am willing to do a bit of mechanical restoration, however. Price must be approx. $5000 or less. Thanks |

yeah
its not that I can't afford a better car, I just want something that I can drive every day that will be fun, but that I won't feel guilty about racking up the miles on...it will be replacing a '91 Chevy Cavalier |

I like the 912, I was looking at one for $5,000-- the paint looked really good, but I used a magnet on the fender wells and that gutter part under the doors and the magnet wouldn't stick, I ran like hell!!

Not to go too far OT but have you considered a 944?
They're excellent daily drivers, fun, cheaper (like $3500) and fully galvanized!
