Sidkick rear light issue, help please
Hi there. We're new to the board.
Hubby and I have been having problems with the rear lights on our sidekick. Only the lights in the front end work when the nightime light switch is turned on. All signals and breaklights work on the car all around. We've checked the spark plugs, and we've replaced bulbs, still to no avail at night we can't drive because no light will come on in the rear end unless we have our four ways on. This issue even includes the lisence plate lights. What I did today was went to the wreckers and got a new inside wiring assembly for the left side rear, I installed it and it now shows a light when I turn the lights on, but it messes up when I hit the break peddle and have my left turn signal on - the break light starts flashing instead of them turn signal. So now, I have one light working in the rear end, no other lights still. But the one light flashes when I turn my left turn signal on. Confusing I know, but any ideas on how to get the rest of the lights working, and to help with my flashing problem? Thanx Dragan_sidekick |

The front lights work, but its the backend that's not working; would a new switch really help the back lights come on?
Thanx, Dragan |

it is either the switch or the wiring but i am sure that the combination switch is bad , get a used one from a junkyard and try it
