Technical hybrid question...
Ok, I am getting confused here... I got my integra LS engine in my 95 civic DX. But i couldnt get the axles in.. So I brought it to a shop. They said those axles wont fit in my DX hubs. The place I bought the swap from said I need larger hubs, the ex/si ones... So my mech wants me to get them ex/si hubs, put them on.
But my friend who has done a gsr/hatch dx swap says to just force them in, and they will work fine. Then drift says i should have them force them in.... ok, 2 peeps say i need to get diff hubs, spindles, berring, knuckles, calipers and rotors... 2 say to force the teg axles in. What should I do??? |

i dont know ofany shop that would cover if it requires force when it shouldnt. i wouldnt. usually they would require you to sign a liability waver to cover their a$$es if it dosent work. the outer joint is usually removeable and are possibly the same size on the inside as the ones that properly fit your car. basically just swapping the outer joint s on your akle shafts. :smoka:if that made any sense:bonghitte
