E34 clutch slave cylinder
Hi,
I own a BMW e34 525i M20 in which I replaced the solid heavy stock flywheel with a one from a 1982 528e ( lighter and thinner). Car runs well but there a thud when shifting into 1st and when car is stationary. In addition the car now 'clunks' in the region of the bellhousing. Do I increase the clutch slave cylinder pushrod lenght? if so by how much! Is there a compatible clutch slave cylinder that I can use? Please advise. Note: I do not have the dimensions of either flywheel. Thanks. |
