styling for BMW E39

Hello,
my name is Laura,

I have a BMW 525 - E 39 from 1995 and I am looking for some tuning parts:
angel eyes
front spoiler
sideskirts
rear spoiler
rear wing
rearlights
.......

I'll be glad to take some advises from you before I decide what changes I have to do at my car.

thank you

Re: styling for BMW E39

Well first of all, the 1995 5-series wasn't an E39, it was E34. Does your car look like this?-

or like this?-

The 1st is E34, the 2nd is E39.

Most importantly DO NOT RUIN YOUR BMW. Wings and "altezza" style lights look absolutely terrible on any 5-series.

Check out these sites
http://www.bmpdesign.com/
http://www.acschnitzer.com/
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html/index.asp
http://www.dinancars.com/

Again, please don't rice out your car. It will make it look terrible to everyone else and will kill its resale value.

A picture of my bmw.
I know that this model was made since 1996 but this car is from december 1995.
Don't worry I don't plan to ruin this car I want just to be special.

Oh my DinanM3_S2 is right, do not do anything that will make it look anything like a riced out Tiburon or Civic. If you want to modify it, put an M5 bodykit on it or at least somthing classy and subtle. For the love of God, the E39 is the best looking 5 Series IMO and I would have to kill myself if I saw a pic of one with a huge wing and bodykit. Dont make a rolling joke of a BMW, thats the X3's job.

X3? I thought that the 318ti was the joke.

Like Porscheguy said, I would go for a M5 look. An M5/540i sport front bumper and sideskirts. I would look to trade out the old amber colored taillights with the later year's white ones. Angel eyes are ok, but try to find ones that look as close to the real ones as possible, OEM if possible. No big wings, but a subtle lip spoiler looks good. Avoid chrome wheels at all costs. They look tacky. Also look out for inexpensive wheels. You usually get what you pay for. Wheels from Hamann, AC Schnitzer, or other BMW 5-series are tailored to look good with BMWs, but others (BBS, HRE) work well too.

If your pictures are already online, right click them. Under "properties" there should be an address for any picture usually ending in .jpg or .gif, ie.
http://www.auto123.com/ArtImages/41845/alt03.jpg

Copy that address. To post that picture in a post, type after it.

For examples just click reply to any post with a picture and you can see the coding.

Well, the 318ti from back in the day was hoot of a joke, but IMO the X3 is todays BMW knee slapper.
