Prizm Harness +Hardwire +12 volt
I bought a Floor Mat that lights up form jcwhitney, now i need to hardwire it into my harness.
I opened up the panel under the steering wheel.. and i found the harness, now I need to connect the wires. Does anyone know which color are the +12 volt that is accessory, it turns on when you put the car key into "ACC" position. So, what are the colors of the +12 and the ground? How do you/can you open up the harness to connect the wire? Do you need to solder it? Thanks in advance ~Anton Last edited by The Russian Kid; 06-27-2005 at 10:12 AM. |

Re: Harness +Hardwire +12 volt
The easyest way I think is to take the radio out and use the wires off that.

yea...hes right its easiest to doit through the radio...but if you want...you can also set it up to a switch...ummm...i dont have it with me...but i bought a haynes repair manual....and i'll look it up for you....
you dont have to cut any wires to get to it...they have connectors that will do it for you...

Re: Harness +Hardwire +12 volt
Couldnt get it to work in the harness, so i hooked it up to the cigarete lighter.
got shocked several times.. but now seems to be working fine the little block, is it a converter/amplifier? it is making high pitched noises though.. Is that good or bad? My self amplified Sony CD player sounds half that loud.. |
