02 Ram:Pulse-like vibration at idle
When I release the brake and and move forward in idle, there is a pulsating- like vibration. It almost feels like if you were to repeatedly tap the brakes. Once you step on the gas it goes away. Anybody know where to start with this??

Your transmission is probably already going. Typical Dodge automatic.
How's your trans fluid level? |

Re: Re: 02 Ram:Pulse-like vibration at idle
I just bought from Carmax. We checked all the fluids. It only has 18k miles. I was planning on taking it to Dodge for some warranty work. I figured I would ask around before I take it.

If it's warranty work then it's free and you should take it regardless.

nothing to worry about, i have one too, its just the convertor on the verge of flash. I say no problem but is the vibration violent?? if so then have it checked. if it is just a slight feeling that is in tune with the motor speed its normal, along with the wine in the rear end at about 45mph.
