Exclamation Engine Swap h22 in 99 honda civic

Hey i was wanting to do a swap in my 99 honda civic but i have a hx auto cvt trans and it is going bad and the honda dealership said it would cost 4000 for a new trans in it so i was wanting to swap it to a stick and put an h22 in it so i was thinking bout buying a 1996 honda prelude to swap everything out like the trans motor and clutch assembily and everything to do a swap to stick shift i was wonder how possible is this and if any one knew any good tips or anything

Hey, I was just doing like a shit load of research for a h22 swap into a 6th gen civic, and i found this site. Just click on the link or copy and paste the link, and when it opens up wil say H22 swap for 92-95 civic, but if you scroll down ALL the way to the bottom, you can click on the link that says 96-98h22 swap. I think its awesome its all the info you need for the H22 swap. Most of the info will be in the 92-95 section, so you might have to go back, becasue there are little diferences between the 5th and 6th gen H22 swap. This doesn't help you with the tranny conversion but will give you an idea of what is involved in this swap.

ya cuz my trans is the 99 hx trans and has to be swapped with an hx trans 99 so he said good luck finding one and he said if i did it would be about 4000 for it so he said do a auto to manual swap then i thought might aswell do a engine swap to
