Question Tamiya Peugeot 206 WRC 2002

Both Hobby Search and HLJ are showing a new release from Tamiya in September for the Peugeot 206 WRC 2002, but neither site has any information other than price. I was wondering if anyone has any links to get more info about this kit. Does it have driver/co-driver figures, any photo-etched parts etc. I tried Tamiya's site but found nothing about it.

Thanks Vric. I suspected it might just be a re-decalled kit, but you live in hope, don't you?

You can find the information in Japanese here http://www.tamiya.com/japan/news/new...ews4.htm#24255

I believe driver figures are included, but no p/e parts or fabric seatbelts. i hope they'll get the front bumper right this time.

cheers,
Wong

Here's the translation of what the Tamiya site says, although a bit rough:
● プジョ - 206 WRC which shows preponderant strength with WRC of this season is appearance. ● Catching the feature of 2002 model such as reinforcement panel of the bonnet and the rear fender where you could open the duct of 3 places, and disk brake of front and back same size it reappears. ● The 3-D you set also the doll of the driver and the コ * driver to the interior which overflows. ● Tool ・ ド ・ コルス specification.
I used worldlingo.com to translate it, but it at least tells us that they will come with the driver figures as well as the new rear bumber and hood.
I will be adding this kit to my collection of WRC kits.

We have to wait september to know ...

but i hope, they won't just remold the body...
because they have to modify tha rollcage part, modify spare wheel emplacement (that were not do in 2000 and 2001 kit version :-( ) and finally the new dashboard !!!!

I wish tamiya would make a 206 street convertible. All I see are the 1/43s.
